Zipping by for Sweet Treats

Hey there, it’s Katie here today. I have a fun card to share with you today and I feel a bit guilty about it. it is Halloween but I am sharing a Christmas card. BUT… at least it has sweet treats.

OK, guilt admission #2, I made this using a retired paper pack! BUT, had I realized, I would have totally replaced it with paper from the Merry and Bright Paper Pad. I will do this for version 2. In the meantime, here is how I made this card.

I started by stamping and cutting out the images from Oh My Garland Stamp and Coordinating Die Set, with my Asphalt Ink and Misti. Next, i used my Stitched Mini Slim Rectangles #2 to cut my Patterned Paper and Winter Glitter Paper Pack (white). I stamped placed these layers on a white base using EZ Tear Tape and Foam Tape. Then I colored my images with a combo of Copics and Olo Markers. I added some white gel highlights and placed them where I wanted them on with the other layers. That’s it! Mostly coloring, which is my fave part of cardmaking.

Well, I hope you forgive the Christmas Card on Halloween, but I hope you agree it is as least sweet and fun. I appreciate your visit today!

Please hit up the FB page, IG, and YT for more inspiration and then visit the shop to pick up some goodies. ~Katie
