July Release Sneak Peek: Wildflowers & Butterfly Trio

Hello everyone! Justin here, and I am so excited to be sharing with you a sneak peek from the upcoming Pink & Main July Release! I am sharing TWO different brand new stamp sets today: Wildflowers & Butterfly Trio! The Wildflowers Stamp Set is a 6″ x 6″ set that has so many wildflower silhouettes to use that are going to be just perfect on ink-blended backgrounds! The Butterfly Trio Stamp Set is a 3″ x 4″ set that also has a separate coordinating die set available as well. Butterfly Trio has 3 different butterfly images and 3 different bold sentiments that are just perfect for your projects!

This card was super fun to put together. First, I brushed my coloring cardstock with my Magic Anti-Static Brush, stamped my butterfly from Butterfly Trio in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, and then heat embossed the image with Clear Embossing Powder. I colored up my butterfly with Copic Markers and then cut it out using the coordinating dies. I set it aside for later.

I also heat embossed the sentiment “Hello Sweet Friend” from Butterfly Trio with Frosting Embossing Powder on Black Cardstock. I used the coordinating die on this as well (I love so much that Pink & Main has coordinating dies for a handful of their sentiments), and set it aside for later.

Next, I cut a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of blending cardstock, a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of black cardstock, and a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Ice Rink Cardstock. On the blending cardstock, I blended my Distress Ink ombré using Kitsch Flamingo, Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina & Twisted Citron. Then, using Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink, I stamped out my wildflowers and butterfly silhouettes using the Wildflowers Stamp Set. I adhered this layer to the black panel, so there was a thin black frame, and then adhered that entire unit to my Ice Rink Panel, so the Ice Rink Cardstock acted as an additional frame.

I finished off this card by adhering my sentiment and butterfly with foam tape, putting a few Pandamonium Enamel Dots onto the card, and then adhering it to an A2-sized card base! My card was completed!
