Warm and Cozy Thanks

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here from donnaisplayingpaper! And Spring has sprung at my house, except in my crafty space, where it’s all autumn! I have an adorable duo today from the Warm and Cozy stamp set. They’re just enjoying the lovely cloudy weather, and why not?

To make this card, I stamped the images from the Warm and Cozy Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured them with my Copic Markers. I used autumnal tones, in all my favourite colours except BG75, which has gone missing. If anyone has seen it in my crafty space, please let me know! Once they were coloured, I cut all the images with the matching Warm and Cozy dies. I love matching dies! Yay for not having to decide how to cut around the hedgehog quills.

The background for the cards is made using the Cloudy Day stencil. I use this one all the time, and I love the way it has clouds inside and outside the stencil. I used the outer edges of the stencil and blended the tiniest amount of distress oxide in Iced Spruce, Speckled Egg and Victorian Velvet. I wanted a really soft background. I then cut this panel with the second largest Stitched Arches die, to frame my sky.

The background panel is popped up with some spare packaging glued behind, and the critters and log have Foam Sheets behind them. These are a good thickness for when you want just a little dimension. The sentiment comes from the same Warm and Cozy Stamp set

That’s all for today’s card. I hope you’re having a super day.

Until next time, blessings

Donna
