Hello friends! Justin here, and today I am sharing yet another winter holiday card with a bit of a vintage flair! Today’s card features the new Pine Boughs stamp set, along with some clever patterned paper and cardstock usage to contribute to a fun final layout.
Below is a list of products used for today’s card:
Pink & Main Products Used:
Pine Boughs Stamp Set
Pine Boughs Coordinating Dies
Homespun Christmas Patterned Paper
Pebble Cardstock
Coffee Shop Cardstock
Ice Rink Cardstock
Ahoy Enamel Dots
Frosting Embossing Powder
Embossing Watermark Ink Pad
Other Key Products Used:
Catherine Pooler Inks: Peppermint Scrub, Spruce, Icing on the Cake, Over Coffee & Sand Castle
First, I trimmed a piece of Ice Rink Cardstock to 2.25″ x 5.5″. I then stamped the various images from the Pine Boughs Stamp Set in Peppermint Scrub, Spruce, Icing on the Cake and Over Coffee Inks by Catherine Pooler to create a festive panel. Once the stamping was done, I took the Sandcastle Ink by Catherine Pooler and distressed the edges of the panel.
Next, I took a red quilted pattern from the Homespun Christmas Paper Pack and cut (2) .75″ x 5.5″ strips. I cut an A2-sized piece of Pebble Cardstock. I adhered both of the red quilted strips to the Pebble Cardstock, one flush to each end of the card in portrait-orientation. I then took my stamped panel and adhered it in the center of the exposed Pebble Cardstock section.
For my sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment “Season’s Greetings” by stamping the sentiment with the Watermark Embossing Ink Pad on to Coffee Shop Cardstock, embossing it with Frosting Embossing Powder, and cutting it out using the Pine Boughs Coordinating Dies. I adhered the sentiment to my card using foam tape, applied a few Ahoy Enamel Dots, and adhered the entire piece to an A2-sized card base to finish it up!
