Christmas Photos

Hi crafty friends, it’s Joy here and I have a fun slimline Christmas card for you today. I created a fun design using cute photo frames from the new Square Frames dies. I added fun images from the Christmas Squares stamp set. I also used glitter embossing powder for the picture frames. I hope you enjoy!

I die cut the photo frames from the Square Frames Dies in white cardstock. I inked up the frame part of the die with clear embossing ink and sprinkled on the Fire Engine Red embossing powder and heated that until it melted. This gives the frame a fun sparkly look. I stamped the Santa, Snowman and Reindeer images on the center pieces of the frame. I colored these cute images with Copic Markers.

On the background (slimline 8 1/4 x 3 1/4) I stamped the Christmas Streamers stamp set in Seafoam ink (SSS) twice to fit across the length of the card. Then I ink blended the top and sides lightly with the same color.

I centered the images and slightly tilted them and adhered them to the background. I popped the Santa image up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Streamers stamp set with black ink and used the Sentiment Strip dies to cut it out. I adhered that to the card panel. I finished by added a red cardstock mat behind the card panel and adding some clay hearts to the design.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
