Turkey Dinner

Hey there! Katie here today. Just hanging around and prepping a bit of Thanksgiving Dinner, complete with pie for desert!

I can’t tell you how much I love this month’s stamp and die of the month. These quirky little turkeys are just delightful and make me smile.

Here is how I made today’s card. I started with the Turkey Time Stamp and Coordinating Die Set. After stamping my image, and cutting it out, I colored it with my Copics. i used E35, E25, E21, E11, YG25, YR07, YR04, YR15, R39, R37, R35, R14, Y15, Y13 and then followed it up with some white gel pen accents. Setting that aside, I used the Pumpkin Season Paper Pack, cutting the floral layer to 4 X 5.25 and mounted it on the white base using the EZ Tear Tape. I cut a bit more of the paper and a strip of aqua cardstock and mounted the along the bottom of the base. Next, I pulled out the Missing You Coordinating Die Set and cut some leaves in green cardstock and mounted those layers. I used more of the Pumpkin Season paper and cut out the Zig Zag Circle Die, I also mounted this in the center. On top of that, I used foam tape to mount my turkey in the middle. I stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Greetings Stamp Set along the lower right with some Versafine ink. Finally, I used more teal and aqua cardstock with the Sympathy Slim Line Dies and mounted them together using foam. I finished it off with Unicorn Pearls that are orange with a touch of yellow.

I sure hope you like this card today because I adore this cute turkey and these colors. I have to say, if this guy showed up at my house, I would happily invite him to the table and share his pies! Mmm, pie, now I am hungry! 😉 My fave kind is strawberry rhubarb, my mom used to make it for my birthday. Do you have a fave?

Well thank you for visiting today and be sure to pick up these cute turkeys in the shop and visit our FB page and Instagram account for more inspiration.
