Thinking of you

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here in Tokyo, and I have a card for you that would be perfect for sending to friends while we’re social distancing. At least it would be, if Japan hadn’t stopped sending international mail! I’m getting quite a nice pile of unsent letters returned! I’ll just keep them and send them again when the mail opens up again!

To make this card, I used the Ergonomic Blender Brush and the Petals Stencil with a range of analogous colours. I knew they would play nicely because of this. I blended a little more heavily towards the outside of the card, and faded off towards the middle. I then cut this with the largest of the Stitched Rectangle 2 dies.

Once I had the background finished, I cut the hello using this die from Pink and Main’s Sparkle Sheets in ’Stop Sign’, which is a gorgeous vibrant red. The rest of the sentiment if from the Forever in my Heart sentiment stamp set. I heat embossed this in white onto black card, and trimmed it with my paper trimmer.

As a final embellishment, I added some Enchanted Garden Enamel Shapes in matching colours.

I hope you are keeping safe and well, and that you are able to make the most of your time at home.

Until next time,

Blessings ,

Donna
