Sweet Card using the Hap-bee Stamp

Hi crafty friends, it’s Joy here and I have a sweet card for you using the Hap-bee stamp and die set. I foiled, die cut and colored the elements on this card. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to bring that sweet bear to life. Hope you enjoy it!

I started by foiling one of the BeeYoutiful foilables with Gold Cheer Foil, then I carefully ink blended the background with Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey Distress Oxide Inks. Then I die cut the “hi” from the Layered Scallops A2 Rectangle Dies from white and black cardstock.

I stamped the super cute bear from the Hap-bee stamp set with watercolor friendly ink and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Bear: Mid Brown, Oatmeal, Honey: Light Brown, Yellow, Honey Pot: Persian Green, Peacock Blue. Bees: Yellow. I used the coordinating die to cut him out. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and trimmed it out.

I trimmed a piece of vellum and placed it towards the bottom of the foiled panel, I added the “hi”, the bear and the sentiment. I finished by adding a bunch of the little bees flying around. I used a black micropen to add the bee flight details.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy Baldwin
