Stenciling with Perfect Pearls

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with you today. February is almost over and I am already preparing for Spring. Got some fresh and colourful decoration, enjoy every ray of sun and looking forward to spending more time in the nature with my kids. Meanwhile we are waiting for the warmer weather to arrive, I help my mood with springy cards. Like this one:

I stamped and coloured the flowers from the Daisy bugs stamp set using pink shades of Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

While I was at die cutting I cut the Wreath base 2 die twice from a pale green cardstock and the little leaves a couple of times. I added a bit of shading to them with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink and a blender brush.

On a piece of craft carstock I temporarily adhered the Petals stencil with Pixie spray and applied Versamark ink directly from the pad. After removing the stencil I went over the whole panel with Perfect Pearls and a soft brush: wherever it was sticky from the Versamark, it holds the powder. Just to seal it, I lightly spritzed it with water from a mini mister. Looks so beautiful! I cut it down a bit with a Stithced rectangle die and gave it a white pearl scalloped rectangle mat.

I assembled the card on a pink card base. I cut the wreath from kraft cardstock once more so I could white heat emboss the sentiment from the Spring sentiments set. As a finishing touch I added silver glossy dots to the flower centres. Isn’t it pretty?

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and you will try to use your stencils with this technique!

See you soon,

Zsofi
