Lucky To Call You A Friend!

Hello, crafty friends and welcome back! It’s Laurie with you today to share a card made using all new, fabulous products from the February release! I don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for all things gnomes. So, when the Lucky Gnomes Stamp Set was released, I was SO excited!! I was also excited to see all those new masking stencils…LOVE!!!

I started by adhering the heart mask portion of the Mask It Heart Stencil to the upper, centre portion of a white card panel. I don’t own any Pixie Spray (low tack stencil adhesive) so I used a small piece of washi tape. And it worked perfectly!

I then placed the Clover Stencil over top.

I used a lime green shade of ink with the AWESOME Ergonomic Blending Brush and inked over the stencil. This left me with this..

I removed the heart mask then lined up the Heart Stencil portion and used a darker shade of ink.

Isn’t it just so cute?! I am in love with these stencils and can’t wait to try out all the shapes!

I stamped the sweet, girl gnome from the Lucky Gnomes Set and coloured her in. I later decided to paper piece her outfit and hat with a piece of Pastel Dreams paper. I used the co-ordinating die to cut her out.

The stamp set has stamps to spell out the word “lucky” but I thought it would be fun to use the Thin Alpha Dies! I left the letters white but used craft foam to give them lots of dimension. I also added foam tape to the sweet gnome as well as a tiny green heart from the Enchanted Garden Enamel Shapes to her hat.

I stamped the remainder of the sentiment onto a small Sentiment Strip Die and popped that up under the die cut letters.

I added the panel onto a white, top fold, A2 card base and called the card finished. I had so much fun making this card!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Laurie
