Starry Christmas card

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, coming to you from Australia, where the winter seems like it’s never going to end. On this the second day of summer’s I’m curled up in front of the fire, trying to stay warm and out of the rain. But I have a lovely sunny card for you.

This card was made using the Scattered Stars Stencil. I taped it to some card, then ink blended in a rainbow of colours. Once this was dry, I went over the top with Glossy Gel. I spread this with Pink and Main’s EZ Spreader. This actually made it much easier to get an even coating. Just look at the beautiful shine on the stars in the picture below.

For the sentiment, I used the Winter Greetings Stickies. I cut the Merry Christmas sentiment off the sheet, removed the backing layer, and rubbed it onto black cardstock with my bone folder. I then peeled off the front sheet, leaving the clear stickie behind on my card. I then rubbed over some Cheerfoil onto the words. I chose the Tinsel Silver Cheerfoil for this card.

Lastly, I added some Glitter enamel dots from the Let it BEE collection, just for a bit of extra fun and sparkle. That finished off the card. I hope that you’re having a great start to December, and that there is peace in your house.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
