“Snow”Mellows

Hi crafty friends, I have a cute birthday card for my project today. I used the super cute S’more Fun stamp set. I also used reinkers to splatter the background. Let’s get started.

I created the background first because, I wanted it to dry. I started with a piece of white cardstock and splattered Lakeside, Dress shop and Barbershop. I put that aside and then embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Basket 6×6 embossing folder.

I colored these cute “snow”mellows with Copic markers sticking to a teal and pink theme. I used the coordinating die to cut them out. On a piece of vellum I stamped the sentiment with clear embossing ink and used Sea Glass embossing powder. I heated that until it was melted.

I laid the vellum over the splattered background and adhered it at the bottom, then I added a white piece of cardstock at the bottom (this is the snow). I used a teal marker to add a little shadow and dots for snow under the characters. I popped that up with foam tape and adhered it to the embossed background, then adhered that to a white A2 card base.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hugs,

Joy Baldwin
