Snow Sweet Skater

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I’ve grabbed one of my all time favourite winter stamp sets for today’s card.

This cutie from the Snow Sweet stamp set was stamped and coloured using Copic markers. I then cut him out using the matching dies, and put him aside while I worked on the background and sentiment.

To create the background, I blended inks onto a piece of white cardstock, using a light pink and two blues, the darker blue being used only around the top edges. I then stamped and white heat embossed the snowflakes from the same stamp set all around the sky, before flicking on a mix of perfect pearls and water for added snow flurries.

The sentiment is stamped in clear ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. Finally, for the ice, I used a strip of the Galaxy Foil paper pad.

My little snowman was popped up with foam tape and the card was complete. I love this soft colour combination, and think this little guy is adorable.
