Sneak peek – Warm winter blessings

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here from donnaisplayingpaper. The Sneak Peeks continue, and today I’m featuring a new stamp, a new embossing folder, and a new embossing powder!

My wintery scene is made using a background of the soon to be released Snow Day embossing folder. Before I ran this through my die cutting machine, I lightly inked the pink side of the folder with clear embossing ink, and used some anti static powder on my card stock. I then carefully laid my card stock into the folder, closed the folder and embossed it with my die cutting machine, being careful not to move the paper. Once it was out, I sprinkled it with Wintergreen embossing powder and heat embossed. The new embossing powders are amazing because they have different colours of powder and glitter, so they give an amazing two toned effect.

I stamped my image from the Frosty Hello mini stamp set ( coming soon!) an coloured it with Copic markers, before adding some Icicle Embossing powder, which gave a snowy shimmer to the ground and the top of the igloo. The pic below shows it the best.

The sentiment comes from another nearly here stamp set called Hello Winter. I layered everything up onto my sentiment stamped card base, and the card was done.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed this sneak peek. I love seeing what all the design team members come up with. Until next time, stay warm!

Blessings,

Donna
