Sneak Peek Easter Fuzzies

Hello everyone! Samantha here from @sammakescards back on the Pink and Main blog where I am so excited to share some sneak peeks from tomorrow’s new release.

This cute card features a scene made with the new Easter Fuzzies Stamp Set. I stamped each of my characters onto Copic-friendly cardstock in black ink, before using my Copic markers to color them. Because the stamp theme is “Fuzzy” I used a stippling technique for my coloring of the bunnies and the chick to further enhance the fuzzy look. For the bunnies, I also added in a few dots with a white gel pen to make them look extra fluffy. Once my coloring was complete, I cut out the stamp images using the the accompanying Easter Fuzzies Die Set and started on building out my scene.

I had pre-selected pattern paper from the new Pop Flowers 6×6 Paper Pad, which helped me determine the color palette for my card. I cut my pattern paper down to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ before die cutting out a square using the largest stitched square die from the Layered Scallops Square Dies. Next, using green cardstock from my stash, I die-cut some rolling hills using the newest Waves and Scallops Border Dies before adding them to a sky-blue cardstock background cut 4″ x 5 1/4.” I topped my sky-blue card panel with my pattern paper and adhered them with foam tape for added dimension. I then added on my stamped images, also with foam tape, before gluing everything to a white A2-sized card-base.

To finish everything off, I created my own sentiment by die cutting a green cardstock “Hello,” also from the Layered Scallops Square Dies, and then stamping the word “Spring” from the brand new Bloom with Joy stamp set in green dye ink onto white cardstock. I added a little sparkle to the “Hello” with my shimmer pen before finishing things off with a few pearls from the new Pop Flowers Sticky Pearls set.

I am so pleased with how this card came out. The little animals are just so adorable and perfect for Easter. I hope you love it too!

Thanks for reading!
