Season’s Greetings

Creating a bit of Christmas card magic with the newest Pink & Main release is both easy and fun! Select from several beautiful stamps, dies, stencils, glitter and much more!

For my first card, I cut white cardstock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Set 1 dies and ink blended the background using an Ergonomic Blending Brush. I created a border using the new Pine Boughs stamps (with coordinating dies which also cut out the sentiments in the stamp set!) To finish, I added a few gems from the Sparkle Gems collection.

This next card was created with the new Poinsettia Stencil. I ink blended the center/main part of the flower with an Ergonomic Blending Brush and heat embossed the remaining petals using the Watermark/Embossing Ink Pad and Cranberries Embossing Powder – first applying some Magic Anti-Static Powder to reduce fly-away embossing granules. The word ‘peace’ was created using Thin Alpha Dies adhered to vellum which I then fussy cut around the letters. To finish, I added a few gems from Starlight Gems collections.

For my last card, I embossed the background layer with Micro Dots Embossing Folder and ink blended the edges. These beautiful holly leaves/berries were created with the new Holly and Berries Emboss and Cut Folder – with just one step, you get both embossed and cut out images! Once cut, I applied distress oxide ink with a wet brush to the holly and berries then sprinkled white and brown watered down ink. To finish, I added the sentiment dies from the Holly-Days Dies. I like how the finished project has a vintage look.
