Happy Tuesday Everyone! It’s Katie again, I have another fun card for you today. This one features The Best Gift Stamps and Coordinating dies.
I definitely mixed it up with the colors, I was feeling adventurous with this one. here’s how I made this one:
I stamped the image with the stockings and them cut them out with the coordinating die. Again, these are from The Best Gift Stamps and Coordinating Die Set. I colored it with my Copics. For the red, I used R37, R35, R14, dark green- G17, G09, G03, light green- YG07, YG06, FYG2, pink- RV19, RV17, purple- V17, v15, V05, blue- B99, B97, B93 and for the bears, C1, C5, C7 and R20. Once colored, I added highlights with my white gel pen and set them aside. Next, I pulled out some paper form the Homespum Christmas paper pack and cut it to 4 X 5.25. I die cut some green cardstock using the Stitched Arch Die set and mounted that on the DP, which I mounted on a white base using the EZ Tear Tape. Then I mounted my stockings using foam tape. I cut a strip of red and a bit of purple CS. I mounted the red across. On the purple, I stamped my sentiment in versamark and then used Wow Embossing Powder Hot Gossip to sent the sentiment from the stamp set. I mounted that with more foam and wahlah!
That little butt sticking out of the top makes me giggle. I hope you like this fun and non-traditional card.
