Peppermint Candy Shaped Card and Video

I have the CUTEST peppermint candy shaped card to share today using Pink & Main dies! And I created a quick VIDEO TUTORIAL to share my process!

I die cut the Peppermint Swirl Die from red cardstock from the Winter 6×6 Glitter Paper Pack and used a die from the Layered Circles Die Set to cut a matching size circle from white glitter cardstock from the Metallics 6×6 Glitter Paper Pack. I adhered these pieces together and added them to a Zig Zag Circle die-cut with foam tape for dimension.
I wanted to add the cellophane candy wrapper to my peppermint card so I crumpled up some vellum and folded it back and forth and messed with it until it looked like worn cellophane! I added 1/2″ EZ Tear Tape to the back of my circle and adhered the vellum pieces behind the peppermint candy piece. I die cut a matching Zig Zag Circle and sandwiched the vellum between the die-cuts.

I die cut a sentiment from the Christmas Greetings Die Set twice – once from white and once from red cardstock – and offset them and added them to the top of my pieces. I created a circle shaped card and adhered it to the back of the zig zag circle. And that finishes this adorable peppermint candy shaped card!
