Hey everyone! Katie here today with a fun sneak of some amazing new products you are going to LOVE!
This combo of elements if fabulous if you ask me. This stencil is versatile and so fun. It is called Pyramid and as you can see, can be used for slimline cards too. Also featured here is some new Spring Glitter Cardstock and the Hooray Enamel Dots.
This card was fun to make. I started by placing my stencil over my white cardstock measuring 4 X 5.25. Then I used my Ergonomic Blending Brush and a Distress Inks- Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean- to make the background. I tried to make the pattern look like waves, lighter at the top and darker at the bottom. I stamped my sentiment in the bottom and set this aside. Next, I used the Layered Oval \dies with the new glitter paper to cut the oval out. Then I stamped the images from Turtley Amazing Stamp Set, which is one of my all time faves. I colored them with Copics (B24, BG32, BG45, YG03, RV21, E31) and cut them out. I tacked down the stencilsed portion on the base, the oval on top of that using the coming EZ Squeeze Glue, and then used foam tape to mount the turtles. I finished it off with the new Hooray Sparkly Enamel Dots.
