Rainbow Spider Web??

Hello crafty friends and welcome back! Laurie here to share a very fun and whimsical Halloween card using a couple of new goodies that are being released soon!!

When it comes to Halloween, I prefer to make fun, bright cards. I’m more into “creepy cute” than just plain “creepy”. So, I thought it would be fitting to make a rainbow spider web!

I used the new Spider Web Cover Die along with some inlaid die cutting to create this fun look. I die cut the web from mixed media paper (I love ink blending on this paper) and also from grey cardstock. All the pieces remained in the media paper so it was easy to mask off each section and add the ink!

I adhered the grey web onto a white card base, added liquid glue to each open area and added the coloured pieces back in! So easy and quite satisfying! Then sentiment comes from the new Trick or Treat Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies. I LOVE how there’s a die to cut the sentiment! I foam mounted the sentiment and decided to add some glitter to the coloured pieces.
