Put some SPRING in your step

Hey there! Katie here today for an encore. I have a few spring cards for you and both feature the new Love Ewe Stamp and Coordinating Love Ewe Die set. This set is absolutely darling. Here is the first card:

I stamped the Love Ewe Stamp on Copic friendly paper, colored them (YG17, YG23, YG25, BG01, Y06, Y15, Y35, Y38, W1, W3, C1, C3, C5, C7, E13, E27, E33, E35, E51, E53, RV21, RV23, V12, V15) and cut them out with the Coordinating Love Ewe Dies. Then I used my black glaze pen for the eyes and a white gel pen for the highlights. I also used the tree from Happy Fall for my ewe to sit on. All images were stamped with black Ink on 3 ink. Next, I used the Happy DP and Pastel Dreams DP for the backdrop and grass. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom half and mounted both on the white base. Next, I added the log for the ewe to sit on with some foam tape. I added shadows to the grass with my Copics. Next, I added my sheep, I mounted her with foam tape as well. However, in stead of using the legs, I decided to use twine to allow her legs to swing if wanted, securing it with glue and mounting the hooves. I used a white gel pen to remove the little bit of black lines below the body. I added some flowers for just an extra bit of fun and finished it with more white highlights.

I love the combo of pastels and this sweet character. Next up, is the bunny from this stamp set.

This bunny is just as cute as the Ewe. This time, I opted to keep the fun skinny legs. here is how I made this one:

I stamped the bunny, carrots and flowers from the Love Ewe Stamp set on more Copic friendly paper and cut him out with the Coordinating Love Ewe Die. I colored them with many of the same Copics (YR07, YR15, YR16, Y06, Y15, Y35, Y38, B01, B02, W1, V12, V15, YG17, YG23, RV21, R23, E33, E51, E53). For the eyes, I used my black glaze pen and white gel for highlights. Next, I added some DP from All Occasion Florals to my base. I took another sheet and used my Mod Stitched Rectangles to cut it out and mount it on the base using foam tape. I cut out a wreath in green using the Wreath Base Die and mounted it on the base then adding flowers to it. Lastly, I mounted my bunny so that it was framed by that wreath.

Pretty cute right?! I hope you like both of these cards as much as I do and they put that SPRING in your step! Thank you so much for visiting and be sure to check out the shop and all the other spots for inspiration (IG & Facebook). Have a happy Thursday!
