Hello crafty friends Amanda here with you today, showcasing this fun set Rainy Day Stamp and matching die from this month’s release. For this card, I stamped my image in Distress ink antique linen on watercolor paper and then used my watercolors to color them.
For the scene, I wanted to have just a scene at the top of the card for a fun change of pace. I taped off the sides to give it a white border and the bottom, where my grass is going to be. Then using my Distress Oxides along with the Stencil Sunshine Layers and blended my scene for the sun first, added another mask over that, and moved my tap for the grass to create that portion of the scene.
I cut out my scene using Stitched Rectangles Set 2. I stamped my sentiment using the set Wings of Whimsy, and for a fun added detail I stamped out the umbrella from the set Paril Mug with matching die.
