It’s time to kick off our monthly challenge for September! Our challenges begin on the second Friday of each month, and each month has a different theme. We hope you’ll use it as inspiration to create a card!

This month’s theme is: Dimension!
Are you a fan of one layer cards? Or are you already a member of the “dimension is life” club? Whether it’s part of your crafting routine, or it’s stepping outside of your comfort zone, this month we challenge you to add some dimension to your cards! This can come from a number of things. Popping elements up with foam adhesive. Multi-layered die cuts. Creating depth and dimension with your coloring. Pastes through a stencil. Embellishments. Or go all out and creating a 3D pop up card! Whatever way to add a little dimension inspires you, create a card this month and join us!
CHALLENGE RULES!
- Pink & Main products must be used on challenge entries.
- Cards must be a NEW creation, created specifically for this challenge.
- Enter as many times as you’d like.
Enter your cards for this month’s challenge in one of two ways: in the Inlinkz link-up at the bottom of this post, or in the September Challenge Album in the Pink & Main Creations Gallery Facebook Group. Enter for a chance to win a Pink & Main store credit worth $25.
Submissions close on Wednesday, October 7 at 11:59pm ET. The winning entry will be selected randomly and posted with the next new challenge blog post.
Now let’s check out the inspiration from our Challenge Team!

The dimension on Brennan’s card comes from the Pocket Full of Posies embossing folder. He also used foam tape to pop up his images from Sweets For My Sweet.

Dominique added lots of fun layers to her card to create dimension. The stacked Ribbons and Bows Frames die cuts frame her sweet card design with lots of dimension, as well as the layered Sweater Dies and Stencils. Foam tape plays a role here as well!

When Jennifer heard “dimension”, she came through with DIMENSION! She created the cutest little Flower Cart Pop Up. But instead of flowers, she filled it with Lots of Leaves and the most clever little pumpkins. Can you tell how she made them? They are the pepper and peach dies from Veggie Basket Add-On Dies!

Karidan added wonderful dimension with the Layered Ocean View Dies – they’re not just for ocean scenes! Here it creates a spooky dimensional “tunnel” on her card! And look at that coloring on her tree from the Oh Nuts stamp set – dimension was created with the shading and highlighting of her markers! The other images on her card are from Halloween Kitties.

Michelle used lots of layers of paper, and popped up her adorable cow from Udderly Adore You with foam tape. Dimension can also come from embellishments, like the Pretty Posies Glitter Enamel Dots used here!

Rosie also created dimension with her coloring, making her 1D Pumpkin Spice Mug almost look 3D! Confetti sequins also add fun dimension!

We loved seeing all of your yellow creations from the August challenge! We randomly chose a winner from all of the entries – congratulations to Lynn Chan! Please send us an email to support@pinkandmain.com to claim your $25 store credit!
Now it’s your turn, we hope you’ll play along! You have until Wednesday, October 7 at 11:59pm ET to add your link to your NEW CREATION FEATURING PINK & MAIN PRODUCTS using our theme to be eligible for the prize of a $25 store credit. (Cards created prior to this challenge are not acceptable entries.) The winner will be chosen at random, so everyone has a chance! Simply post your card photo someplace with public access – a blog, social media post, or host site that displays your entry – and add it into the Inlinkz link-up below. OR, add it to the September Challenge Album in the Pink & Main Facebook Group.
Good luck and have fun playing!
