It’s time to kick off our monthly challenge for August! Our challenges begin on the second Friday of each month, and each month has a different theme. We hope you’ll use it as inspiration to create a card!
This month’s theme is: Color Challenge!
I don’t know how it is where you are, but for us this has been one HOT summer and it’s not over yet! This month we’re challenging you to create a card using the happy, summery color of the sun – YELLOW! Let’s focus on summer vibes one last time before everything becomes all things fall-themed. Any shade of yellow counts, and the interpretation is totally up to you. However this color sparks your creativity, put it on a card and come play along in the challenge!

- Cards must be a NEW creation, created specifically for this challenge.
- Enter as many times as you’d like.
Enter your cards for this month’s challenge in one of two ways: in the Inlinkz link-up at the bottom of this post, or in the August Challenge Album in the Pink & Main Creations Gallery Facebook Group. Enter for a chance to win a Pink & Main store credit worth $25.

Brennan kicks us off with this bright and happy card featuring the Hey Honey stamps and dies. He built his scene on the new Scallop Oblong Oval Dies. And that background from The Bright Side paper pack is just perfect!
Dominique also chose the Hey Honey set to use (not surprisingly, it’s perfect for this challenge!). The flowers coming out of her bee hive are so much fun!
The lemons from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set are also perfect for this challenge, and Jennifer created a whole, adorable stack of them!
We love the pop of yellow on Karidan’s card, featuring the Dogwood Blooms stamps and dies. It’s perfect paired with the yellow gingham from the Spring Gingham Paper Pack.
Michelle chose to focus on a sweet yellow goose from the Silly Goose stamp set!
Rosie had the idea to focus in on a yellow pencil for her card. How fun! That little critter is from Calendar Cuties. We love her Big Bow Paperclip and Library Card, too!
