Mixing Stencils with Patterned Paper

Hey, there! The new Pink & Main release is full of FABULOUS products to mix and match together!

I used the new Petals Stencil to create my pretty two-toned background. I added some purple ink the the inward tip of each petal and then went over the whole stencil with some pink ink to create my two toned background. I kept the pink ink darker towards the center and lighter towards the outer edge for even more dimension.

You could easily make the Petals stenciled background the focal point of a card – but I decided to go with even more flowers! I used a piece of patterned paper from the Fantastic Florals 6×6 Paper Pad and trimmed around the design and backed it with some vellum before popping it up in the bottom right corner of the card with foam tape.

i finished off my card with a stamped sentiment from the Spring Sentiments stamp set die cut with one of the Sentiment Strip Dies and some gems. I hope you like the look of mixing the Petals Stencil with the Fantastic Florals paper! See you soon!
