Make a Birthday Card with Adhesive Transfers

Hello crafty friends.

It’s Lisa Mears (@LisaMearsDesigns) on the blog today sharing a birthday card I made using Pink and Main‘s new birthday themed adhesive transfers. Adhesive Transfers are very similar to rub-ons — simply press them onto your cardstock using a bone folder, scraper, or even a popsicle stick! The design is made out of adhesive, similar to adhesive tape, and will be sticky. You can then add foil, glitter, flock, or embossing powder over the adhesive.

Watch a Video Tutorial:

Pink and Main has released two new birthday themed adhesive transfers which are shown below. The  Birthday Sentiments Stickies Adhesive Transfers, shown on the left, have seven different sentiments and four cupcakes. The  Build-a-Cake Stickies Adhesive Transfers, shown on the right, have three sentiments and several layers of cake.

For my card, I die cut a piece of pattern paper from the Pink and Main Colorful Ink Spots Pattern Paper Pad using a Pink and Main Zig Zag Rectangle die.

I used the Build-a-Cake Stickies Adhesive Transfers and applied the adhesive transfers directly to the pattern paper. I used different colors of extra fine glitter for each section of my cake. Simply sprinkle the glitter onto the adhesive and use your finger to burnish the glitter into the adhesive.

I used a sentiment from the Pink and Main Birthday Sentiments Foilables Cut-ups and foiled it with the Pink and Main Caribbean Cheerfoil.
