Hello Pink and Main Friends. It’s Donna here, and I have some lovely stamps to share with you today.
I have combined two stamps to make today’s card – Toucan do it, and Succulents.
I coloured the leaves from the Toucan Do It stamp set with Copics, and cut them using the matching dies. I then stamped the Hello Friend greeting from the succulents stamp set in different shades of teal, with the deepest shades at the bottom.
Finally, I cut the panel using the second largest die in the Stitched Rectangles 2 set. This is probably my most used die. I love the stitched detail and the size of the border it leaves around the card. The sequins were from my stash. Usually, sequins hide a booboo when I use them but this time, there are actually two booboos that are hidden. I used a new washi tape to hold down my panel to cut it, and forgot to check how strong the adhesive was. Too strong, I found out too late!
This card was a lot of fun to make, and I really love the tone on tone look.
