Hello friend – Playing with Patterned Papers

Hello, hello Pink and Main friends! It’s Donna and I’m back with a fun colorful beach scene today.

I’m featuring the brand new Pink and Main paper pad called Sunshine and Smiles and I’ve layered up four of the papers in the pad with a deeper teal blue which frames them all and stops them from running into one another and getting too busy.

The central image is a small sandcastle at the bottom of the Summer Sloths stamp set. As you probably know by know, I’m a big fan of highlighting the smaller, often forgotten images in stamp sets. I stamped using Memento ink, and then colored the sandcastle and subtle clouds using Copic Markers.

The ‘Hello Friend’ sentiment is also part of that same stamp set. You may remember that I cut the sentiment in half for these cards, but you can see the it went back together again just fine for a sentiment that lines up well.

I love the bright sunny vibe that combining so many papers gives. I hope you are getting some sunshine wherever you are. Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
