Hey everyone! Katie here today with a sneak peek of this week’s upcoming release. This Stamp and Coordinating Die set are called In Your Future which you can get your hands on this upcoming Friday! See, I told you good fortune is in your future!
I made this card by stamping the image first and coloring it with my Copics. She reminds me of a friend of mine who likes to read tarot cards, so in her honor I colored her hair red. I used Copics R37, R35, R14, R08, R05, E00, E02, C7, Y13, Y15, BG10, BG15, BG49, YG41, G94, G99, V05, V06, V09. You can see I added some freckles on her face. After I finished coloring and cut it out with the dies, I added white gel pen highlights. I stamped the banner and sentiment on yellow CS and set that aside.
Next, I used some Pebble Cardstock and I cut out an oval using my Layered Oval Dies an used it as a negative to distress around it. I used my Mini Ergo Blending Brush with Marine, Poison and Moss distress oxide, I started at the top with purple, then blue and ended with green. I spritzed it with water. I also added a bit of purple in the middle and used the marine spritz as well. Behind this, I added some purple cardstock and used EZ Tear Tape to adhere the two layers. Then I came back in with my sentiment and images and mounted them with foam tape. All of these layers were mounted on the white base.
I fully intend to use the soon to be released scratch off paper over the globe and then send it to my friend mentioned above. These fun little colored disks are for scratching off sticker. I think it will make for such a fun experience and the perfect card for this friend.
