Fired Up

Hello stamping buddies. Katie here today with a fun card to share featuring new products from the super cool stamp & die subscription set. This darling set and accompanying dies are called Oh Happy Day.

I am seriously not sure it get’s any cuter than this. What do you think?

So here is how I made this.

First, I stamped the image and colored with my Copics (YG91, YG95, YG97, YG 25, YG23, YG17, YG11, Y38, Y35, RV09, RV17, RV19, R22, R24, RV42, BV08, BV17, GB49, GB45, BG13). I used a black glaze pen for the eyes and added some sparkle pen to the belly and wings. I used the die set to cut it out. Next, I used the Cracked Stencil with Distress Oxides (Persimmon, Raspberry, Violet, Concord, Lipstick, Mustard, Honey and Peacock) and my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brushes to add the colors. Along the top, I stamped the confetti and streamers. That layer is cut to 4 X 5.25 and is mounted on top of a white base. . I cut out a white hexagon using the Nested Hexagon Dies. I stamped my sentiment on it and mounted it in the middle. Then I added my dragon using foam tape. Along the top, above the streamers, I used the Cloudy Frames Die and colored cardstock trimmed to create these puffy banner like layers. Lastly, I added some Happy Mail Enamel Dots.
