Find your rainbow!

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here again. Did you know that it is Find a rainbow day? I think when our world has turned upside down with the virus threat, we need to stay positive. We need to find our little rainbows daily. This thought inspired today’s die cut card.

I started with die cutting the Rainbow die from coloured cardstock scraps. The clouds I cut from white cardstock, each one twice. I also cut a stitched rectangle from light grey cardstock and the Smile sentiment from blue violet, aqua and green scraps.

First I assembled the rainbow using a little bit of washi tape on the back of the biggest slice. Then I inserted the second biggest and so on until it was all one piece. I adhered it down to the stitched rectangle and placed one cloud at each end. The second cloud I popped up with 3D foam squares.

The sentiment layers I adhered tiny offset so all colours are showing. It gives dimension and a lot of interest to a simpl die cut sentiment. I finished it off with a matching sentiment from the Spring sentiments set, stamped with blue violet ink.

I covered the rainbow with clear shimmer and added a few silver glossy dots.

I hope you liked today’s inspiration and will come back for more. And I wish this little post helps you to find your own little rainbow today!

See you soon,

Zsofi
