Easy Stamped Background

Do you have a go-to style? I do! I love creating simple stamped backgrounds. It’s fun, easy, and never goes out of style! I used an adorable Pink & Main stamp set today and created a quick video to go along with the card!

I chose a cute image from the Pink & Main The Best Gift Stamp Set and stamped it repeatedly across a piece of white cardstock with black ink. I love black and white patterned paper and creating my own is something that is quick and easy to do – plus I get to customize the images! I added some cranberry and gold shimmer watercolor spatters to the background to fill in any empty spaces.
I stamped the same image I used in my background on a separate piece of cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers and cut it out with The Best Gift Coordinating Die Set. I started to add it to my card, but it was getting a bit lost, so I turned to another go to trick! I used a Zig Zag Circles die to cut two layers of vellum and that toned down the background just enough!

I stamped a sentiment from The Best Gift Stamp Set, trimmed it into a banner, and added it below my image with foam tape to finish off the card. I hope you enjoyed this project! You can watch the video by clicking the link at the beginning of the post or clicking HERE!
