Christmas Snowflakes

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, sharing a card that uses the fabulous large snowflakes from Pink and Main’s latest release.

These snowflakes have beautiful details, and all have different sizes and designs. I’ve paired them with the Galaxy Foil paper pad and the Vertical Greetings stamp set to create a card for you today.

First, I cut the snowflakes out of Pink and Main’s Ice Rink Sparkle Sheets. This white glitter paper has iridescent glitter flakes that throw the colours around it, giving lovely blue hues against the galaxy paper. You can see that I left some of the smaller pieces of the die in for a more solid snowflake above, but with these pieces removed the snowflake is more delicate, and also lovely.

I cut a panel of the Galaxy foil paper using one of the Stitched Rectangles 2 dies. These dies really are the workhorses of my craft space. I use them on so many of my cards.

The sentiment was heat embossed in silver to match the stars on the paper. I then backed this with another piece of the Sparkle Sheet, and then popped it up with foam tape for added dimension.

I’m looking forward to making many more snowflake cards this Christmas, to celebrate having a winter Christmas while I’m living in Japan.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
