Boo!

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, sharing a Halloween card with you today.

Halloween isn’t something that is celebrated much in Australia. In my whole life, we’ve only had three Trick or Treaters arrive at our door, and they always catch me by surprise, and have me rummaging through our fairly healthy cupboards to find something that someone else’s children will think is a treat! Here in Japan, it is enjoyed as a good excuse for house decoration, but no more.

So…. this is my first Halloween card – ever! I couldn’t go past these cuties, and I wanted to make a really colourful night sky to highlight them. The stamps are from the Less Tricks stamp set, and I’ve cut them out with the matching dies.

The hills at the bottom of the card are made from two of the papers in the Sweater weather paper pad that have been cut with the Scallop Waves Dies. The rest of the background was ink blended with no less than seven inks!

There was a considerable quantity of foam tape used in the construction of this card – I love the elements to look three dimensional. My verdict on Halloween cards – they’re a lot of fun to make!

Thank you for joining us at Pink and Main.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
