Hey there and happy Tuesday! For those of you in the US, hope you had a great Memorial Day holiday. Since summer is almost here, I thought I share a fun summery card with both new and some older products.
This card was designed around the background. Most often I design my cards around the image I chose, but this one, I went the other direction. That was because I wanted to use the new Rough Waters Fiolable Panel with my Colbalt Foil using my Mini Minc Machine! Sooooo much fun!
After that, I used various inks with the Waves of Cheer Stamp and cut them out with the Coordinating Die Set. I then used a glue pen on each of my mermaid tails and covered them with some Ice Rink Glitter. I cut some snips into my foiled layer and tucked the tails into the waves. Next, I used my EZ Tear Tape and tacked down my layer onto a white base. I added some water splashes. I stamped the sentiment from the Starfish Wishes Stamp set and cut it with the Extra Large Sentiment Strips., and I tacked this down and then added some clear pearls.
The foil gloss, the shimmery glitter and the clear pearls that look like water droplets really transport me to the beach. What do you think?
