5X7 Floral Card (Sneak Peek)

Good afternoon!! We’ve been sneaking some peeks at a couple of new products that will be available for purchase this coming Monday (July 20th, 2020).

I’ve made my first ever 5X7 card with the help of the new A7 Layered Rectangle Dies! This size of card is quite daunting to me. There is A LOT of space to fill!! I die cut 2 panels with the largest die from the set. I scored 1/2 inch from the top of one of the panels. Simply place some double sided adhesive to the scored area and adhere the two panels together!

Now, how about an actual sneak peek?! We have a brand new layering stencil called Rose Garden. If you’re a fan of the recently released Hibiscus Stencil, then you’ll love this one!!

I chose another, smaller rectangle die from the same A7 set and lined up the flower stencil. I used a light pink ink. Next, line up the leaf stencil. These stencils are easy to align. There are guides on each stencil which make it easy! And lastly, the tiny flowers stencil which I used a light blue ink.

To add extra interest, I took a pink, green and orange pencil and added some details to the stencilled areas.

For the sentiment, I used one of the new Layered Circles Dies, cut out of black cardstock, and adhered the word “hi”. I used the Thin Alpha Dies for this. The sub sentiment was stamped onto one of the Sentiment Strip Dies and comes from the Just Because Stamp Set.

I added the floral layer onto a piece of black cardstock that was cut slightly smaller. I foam mounted the panel to the card base and also popped up the sentiment circle as well.

Pink and Main is also releasing another new, fabulous product. If you look closely at the first photo in this post, you’ll see it. And you’re going to love it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Laurie
