You’re My Jam!!

Good morning and welcome back!! I hope you’ve all had a chance to check out the new release..and maybe picked yourself up a little something 🙂

Today, I made a super fun card using the new Breakfast Fun Stamp Set and its co-ordinating dies. I wanted to “change things up a bit” and make a square card. I created a card base by die cutting two Scallop Square Dies,( I think I used the 7th from the smallest) out of kraft cardstock. I scored one of the panels at 3/4 inch on one side, added a strip of Scor-Tape and adhered the two pieces together.

This ended up being the perfect size for my 4X4 inch stamped panel. Now, let’s talk about that!! Using a template/stencil, I created this perfect circle of jam jars, a wreath of jars, you could say :). To fill in some of the gaps, I used a heart from the Catitude Stamp Set as well as tiny dots from the Thinking Of You Always Stamp Set.

I used alcohol markers to colour in the images and kept it simple. I die cut the centre out of the stamped panel with a circle die, added the sentiment and some faux stitching with a black pen. I coloured and die cut another jam jar and the strawberry from the set and foam mounted those to the circle.

I added the stamped panel onto the card base using liquid glue and added the circle back in with foam adhesive. Of course, this needed some sparkle and shine so I added some glitter pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the jars and strawberries!!
