You Make my Heart Happy

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here and I have a thank you card for you today.

I started this card out with a piece of white card, and the Butterfly Background stamp. I put the stamp into my stamp platform, because I was going to need to restamp multiple times in exactly the same position.

I used three shades in greens and blues for the stamping, inking the stamp in a rough diagonal pattern with stripes of the different inks, trying not to have too many obvious lines.

Once this was done, I cut a banner from teal card using the Large Fish Tail Banner dies which give beautiful stitched detail to the banner. I then used two stamps from the Grateful Greetings stamp set to make the sentiment. I heat embossed the larger sentiment in white, then stamped the smaller image in one of my butterfly colours before cutting it out with the matching Sentiment Strip dies that go with so many of the Pink and Main Greeting sets.

A border of the same card as the banner completed the card. I always have plenty of thank you cards to send, and this one is good for so many different occasions.
