You Make My Heart Happy

Hi everyone!

Happy Sunday! Ilina here!

If you are like me you end up with bunch of scraps from colored card stock when you are working on projects and you end up keeping them for future use. However that future use never happens.

What I decided to do is cut them in strips (about 1/2″ wide each) and make bunch of backgrounds. For the card today I used more of a masculine color combination so you can use it for both male and female recipients.

I adhered the strips to a white panel measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Once dried I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″.

Die cut Happy using the Happy dies three times from white card stock, adhered them together and placed a heavy block on top and let it dry (this helped dry flat).

In meantime I stamped “You make my heart” from the Happy For You set using embossing ink onto the background and embossed in white.

Next, adhere the die cut Happy to the panel and add Crystal Glaze on top to add dimension and interest. Once dry adhere the panel using fun foam to top folding white note card.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day
