Hello, crafty friends and happy Saturday!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! We are at our lake house for my husband’s birthday weekend and he’s participating in a fishing tournament today…so I’m hoping for lots of crafty time!!
I absolutely love coloring (& eating) cupcakes!! There’s just something about them that’s so fun to color!! Don’t you agree?!? My card today features the Berry Cupcake Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the Berry Cupcake Stamp onto Ice Rink cardstock with Asphalt ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and cut it out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I die-cut a panel of pattern paper from the Colorful Ink Spots Paper Pad with the second largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set and adhered it to an A2 white card base. I die-cut the Stitched Circle Frames Die from Dress Shop cardstock and adhered the fourth largest die-cut to the background. The cupcake was was adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments Foilables Cut Ups. I LOVE that these are printed pre-cut and ready to foil!! It was foiled with Tinsel Lavender Cheer Foil, then popped up over the cupcake with foam tape. I sprinkled a combination of Seafoam, Eggnog, Poppin Pink and Lilac confetti sequins to finish off the card.
I love the bright colors in this paper pad!! It makes it so much fun to match the colors to your focal point image!!
Thanks for spending a bit of your Saturday with me!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
