Happy Wednesday! Katie here today. Are you enjoying the sneak peeks for the May release?! It is such a fabulous release, you are going to love it! It lends itself to a lot of different occasions.
Today, I am featuring a lovely card that could be used for any special occasion, but I am using it to express sympathy.
Seriously, these Bold Butterfly Panel Dies are so fantastic and they work perfectly together. There are three layers- A, B and C.
For my card today, I cut Bold Butterfly panel A with black cardstock and I cut panel B with some teal cardstock and put these layers together. I cut panel C using some purple glitter paper from the Summer Glitter Paper Pack as well as some yellow paper using DP from the Garden paper pad. I used the yellow paper behind and picked out all the purple bits and placed them in the front.
Next, I took a sheet of paper and used some Lindy’s Magicals to create this lovely blue splattered background. When this was dry, I stamped the sentiment from Butterfly Sketches on the base. I mounted all my layers together. Then I used the Butterfly Sketches Glitter Enamel Dots as accents.
