Wishing You Best of Luck

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone! Justin here, and today I am sharing a super fun and springy card featuring 2 of the new stamp sets from our February Release! When I saw the Spring Snow Globe Scenes set, the first image I was drawn to was that little bear drawing a kite. I was determined to turn him into a little scene card, and I’m just so happy with how this turned out!

I colored up the little bear, bee with flowers, and the 2 little bees from the Spring Snow Globe Scenes stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I set them aside for later.

Next, I took the Hooray Paper Pack, and die cut the Rectangle Scallops Print with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1. I then took the diagonal blue stripes print from the Hooray Paper Pack and die cut it with the 2nd largest die from the Notched Corners Die Set. I then took the 3rd largest die from the Notched Corners Die and die cut the shape from both white blending cardstock and green colored cardstock. To create my hillside, I grabbed a circle die from my stash and die cut the green notched corners panel.

I took my die cut of the blending cardstock and blended the panel entirely with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Then, I grabbed the Sunshine Layers Stencil, placed it over my panel, and blended over it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I then grabbed my hillside die cut and blended the bottom of the hill with Mowed Lawn & Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink , I adhered my hillside die cut to my Sunshine Layers die cut.

For my sentiment, I grabbed the new Spring Vertical Greetings stamp set and heat embossed the sentiment “best of luck” onto a Large Sentiment Strip Die Cut of purple cardstock. I snipped off the top of my strip to make it look more like a banner. I also distressed the edges of my sentiment strip with Wilted Violet Distress Ink. I adhered it to my card with foam tape, and finished my card off by adhering a few The World to Me Enamel Dots. My card was complete!
