Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, celebrating a new release at Pink and Main with you. There are lots of adorable dog and cat products, and so far I’ve made a coloured card (today’s post), a foiled card and a die cut card , both still to come. I have so many friends who have family members with four legs, and these will make adorable cards. The hero of today’s card is an adorable stamp from the Top Dog Stamp Set.
I stamped the Top Dog Stamp Set image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured it with my Copic Markers. I have a very small number of markers at the moment, as most of them are packed, so I used only 7 markers for this whole image. The browns of the roof were also used to darken both the inside of the house, and the places where the red paint was peeling off the doghouse. One the image was coloured, I cut it out with the matching Top Dog Dies. Yay for not having to decide how to cut around that grass!
The background was made by inkblending some teal ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I masked off the bottom of the card, so that I would have a ground line. I then spattered the sky with clean water, and the same teal ink mixed with water before removing the mask. The sentiment comes from the same Top Dog Stamp Set, and the dog was popped up with foam tape. The finishing touch was some Summer Fun Glitter Enamel Dots sprinkled here and there, including one across the ground line where I had a little booboo!
