Wishing you a sparkly Birthday!

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here with a new card for you today with a whole lot of splash and sparkle. The hero of today’s card is the Stack of Gifts die from the March release.

Although this is actually a stack of gifts, by cutting them in one colour, it looks like one big gift. I’ve cut it twice for today’s card. Once from white cardstock to provide some dimension, and then again from the aqua paper in the Spring Glitter Paper Pack.

The background is watercolour paper. I’ve layered up some spatters of yellow and lime green watercolour. I did this by colouring with a watercolour brush marker onto a piece of plastic packaging, then smooshing this onto the paper. I dried this off, and repeated the process a few times, making sure that I didn’t let my smooshes get too symmetrical! I tapped off the plastic onto the edges too to make some smaller dots of watercolour.

Finally, I added a sentiment. I cut a circle using the Layered Circle Dies and stamped the Happy Happy Birthday from the Party Animal stamp set in a matching aqua ink. I then added three enamel dots from the Dragonfly Dreams Enamel dots, before gluing this down.

This bright card is going to be fabulous for the teens in my life! Until next time, may your days be bright.

Blessings,

Donna
