Welcome to the neighbourhood!

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, out of quarantine and enjoying life in Japan. Some of the first people to meet here are the neighbours. In Australia, we have a bit of a tradition of taking something to the new people on the block to make them feel welcome. Here in Japan, it’s just the opposite. I need to take a little gift to the neighbours to say I’ve arrived! So I packaged up some Australian chocolates (Caramello Koalas – don’t ever say no to one!), and made some little tags to accompany them. Here are the tags!

To start with, I made the tags. I used the Fancy Tags dies and cut the tag and small hole before blending around the edges with a pale blue ink and my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush. The sweet little snowmen are from the Snow Sweet 2 stamp set. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and cut them using the matching Snow Sweet 2 dies.

I coloured the images using my Copic markers, and popped them up at what I like to think of as a jaunty angle onto the tags. I hope they lead to excellent relationships with our new neighbours. Between them and the chocolate, I think they’ll do the trick!

Until next time, may your days be crafty,

Blessings,

Donna
