Watercolor Floral Shells

Hi crafty friends, It’s Joy here with watercolored card using the beautiful Floral Shells stamp set. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the seashell and flowers. This is what gives it the watercolor look. I hope you enjoy!

I started by ink blending the background with Tidepool and Tropic inks (Simon Says Stamp Ink) in an ombre effect. Then I die cut the Fancy Lattice die from white cardstock and adhered that to the ink blended background.

I used Zig Markers to color shell from the Floral Shells stamp set (Light Carmine, Pale Pink, Oatmeal, Orange, Lemon Yellow, Pale Green and May Green), then used the coordinating dies to cut out the image. I used the Stitched Circle Die to cut out some Vellum. I used foam tape behind the shell and behind the vellum to give it a ton of dimension.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using the new Sea Glass embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Floral Shells stamp set. I also added foam tape behind the sentiment. To finish the card I added a few gold sequins and adhered it to a white A2 card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this project,

Hugs,

Joy Baldwn
