Thanks a Latte Fall Sneak Peek Card

Hi friends, this is Caitlin and I cannot believe that we are already back in another sneak peek week! How is it the end of summer already?!? Well as fast as it snuck up on me, I am ready for fall and this release really warms my heart. The minute I saw the Thanks a Latte Stamp Set, I knew that I had to use it for my sneak peek card. I started out this project by stamping out the to-go coffee cup, the coffee beans and the steam with the Asphalt Premium Dye Ink and the “Thanks a Latte” sentiment with The Park Premium Dye Ink. To get the steam a little lighter, I stamped that image onto a post it note first and then stamped it onto my card stock.

I colored the cup and beans in with my Copic Sketch Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. I really wanted to create a fun layered background for these images and I wanted the whole thing to have a really warm color story. I created a side folding A2 card base out of Pebble Card Stock and added a 4 in x 5.25 in trimmed down panel of one of the fall colored Year Round Plaid Papers. I also added a 1.75 in x 5.25 in stripe of orange with white dots from the Pumpkin Season 6×6 Pad across the middle with liquid glue. As if that wasn’t enough layering, I wanted to add some texture too. I cut the new Crosshatch Die with Pebble Card Stock and added that to my card base as well.

I ink blended a scrap of Ice Rink Card Stock with The Park and Construction Premium Dye Ink and then used the new Branches Dies to cut 3 colorful branches. I used foam tape to add the cup to the card and liquid glue to tuck the branches and beans around it. Then I added the sentiment with liquid glue as well and of course it needed some sparkle so I added in a few orange gems from the Warm Jellies Gems set. I just love how fun this fall themed card turned out and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the release on Friday!!!
