Thanks a Latte

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, still dreaming of Autumn. I have used almost every technique there is on today’s card, it seems!

The main focal image is the lovely cup from the Need to Venti stamp set. I’ve coloured this with copic markers and cut it out with the matching die. I also stamped the sentiment from this stamp set onto black card, and heat embossed it in white.

I then used the Leafy Slimline dies to cut two leaves from gold shimmer paper. I cut them carefully from the line of leaves with scissors, and nestled these behind the cup, along with a broad strip of vellum.

The background was made using the Leafy Stencil and two colours of rusty brown ink. I used a tiny blending brush to apply the inks, changing colours often. I cut this panel using this Stitched Rectangle die, and layered this onto a white card base.

It’s so nice to be making cosy cards!
