Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today I have a card for you where the main focus is the pretty patterned paper called Fantastic Florals.
This paper is gorgeous and I wanted to make it focus of my card.
To make the card start with top folding black note card. What we’ll do here is little dissection of the front 😉 It’s pretty simple, but I will try to break it in few steps.
Cut the front part of the note card at 1 1/5″ from the score/fold line. So you have very short front flap.
The remaining piece will be 4″ x 4 1/4″. Cut it at 2″, so that way you will have two 2″x 4 1/4″ pieces. You will only need one of them.
Score 3 lines at the edge of the short front flap at 1/8″ from each other, do that on one of the 2″ x 4 1/4″ pieces, too, on the long side.
Cut piece of patterned paper measuring 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Using adhesive tape adhere the paterned paper on the back side of the front flap (inside) , so they overlap for about 1/2″
Line up the 2″ x 4 1/4″ to the bottom of the note card ( so it looks like whole, not dissection happened ;)) and adhere them together (making sure that you don’t adhere to the inside of the note card and make the card closed shut permanently. The patterned paper and this piece will overlap for another 1/2″.
Once done, stamp sentiment from Grateful Greetings in Versamark ink and emboss in white. Add some gems and you are finished.
