Teacher Thank You Gift Pockets

Hi again!  Annie here with a gift idea for any new teachers you may be getting to know this school year…using the adorable “Owl Nerds” stamp set that will be released tomorrow!

I wanted to create several small gifts that could hold some basic school/office supplies, and the images and sentiments in this set are perfect for this.

I started by stamping all of my images and coloring them with Copic markers, opting for some bright and unrealistic colors on my owls to keep the gifts cheery.  Then I heat embossed my sentiments in white on some small flags I die-cut from black cardstock.

Each pocket and apple insert was cut using my Silhouette CAMEO.  After assembling the simple apple shape, I adhered one of the images and flags on top of each.

The pockets were sealed around the edges with my Fuse Tool once assembled and filled.

These were pretty quick and easy to make once I got into the rhythm of things!

I filled them with colorful clips and pushpins in the hopes that cheery supplies would help keep the teacher’s spirit up!  I hope you enjoyed this fun back-to-school project…for tips on cutting and assembling the pockets and a full list of supplies, please visit my blog!
